China: Live Dog Burned Alive For Dog Meat/ENG

More shocking scenes emerging from China, of two dog butchers mercilessly burning a dog alive, for dog meat. Using a small-sized hand held blow torch, one of the men slowly and methodically runs an open flame over the fully conscious dog, as it writhes in agony and even sits up. The other man limply hits the dog on the head a couple of times, but not enough to kill or even knock it unconscious.

 

There are no animal protection laws in China (or Vietnam, Liberia and many other dog meat countries.) However, laws alone will not change someone’s heart, when they are immune to any form of empathy toward the suffering of others. Until people are educated in some form of basic humanity of kindness toward other living being, even laws will not change the mentality of people such as these men.

Fight Dog Meat is working to help Chinese animal lovers be heard by their government and have animal protection laws brought in, and an end to the brutal dog and cat meat trade.
