Russian MP Visits Tibetan Parliament/ENG

DHARAMSHALA – Russian Member of Parliament Mr Irinchey Matkhanov visited the Tibetan parliament yesterday to witness the ongoing proceedings of the budget session of the 15th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile.
Mr Irinchey Matkhanov, Deputy of the 6th convocation of the Russian State Duma, accompanied by his wife Mrs Darima Matkhanov, Ms Julia Zhironkina, Director of Save Tibet Foundatin, Russia and Ven Telo Tulku Rinpoche, Representative of the Office of Tibet, Moscow were on a visit to Dharamshala from 22 – 24 March.
Besides the parliament, the Russian delegation also visited the Kashag Secretariat, Tibetan Medical and Astrological Institute, the Library of Tibetan Work and Archives and the Norbulingka Institute during their stay in Dharamshala.
