Chirayu Bhole dr. / tabla

Having done his Masters in Tabla from faculty of Performing Arts at M. S University, Baroda in India, Sri Chirayu Bhole also did his Ph.D. from the same faculty in Tabla. He has worked as Asst professor of Tabla at M. S University. He has been a disciple of Prof. Sudhir Kumar Saxena of Ajrada Gharana of Tabla. He has won several awards for solo Tabla performances at State and national levels in India. He has been a solo performer since 2006 and has accompanied several well known classical singers and instrumentalists till now.

Indian Dance & Music Workshop
In Brief: India is very rich in ancient dances and music. It has been an inseparable part of ancient tradition, mythology, scriptures and storytelling.The Indian dance & music not only derive from tradition but have also got enriched with different influences and integrations from various other art and music forms. One of the major influences is the Indian Folk Art and mythology. Together, the Indian performing Art with traditional folk lores, music and mythology can be a magnificent learning curve for students.

The Indian Dance & Music Workshop would be focused on giving a wholesome, informative and entertaining interactive lec-dem to the participants on understanding the Indian Traditional heritage of dance & music with special emphasis on storytelling. The locals particularly will get an insight into the rich culture of India, through colourful, musical presentations by the dance experts as well as Indian Tabla teacher  Dr. Chirayu Bhole from the Amrita Sher-Gil Cultural Centre. The students would also know about vibrant stories from the rich cultural heritage of India through the various dances and interactions by the teachers. The aim of the workshop would be to familiarise the participants with the Indian culture and encourage them to learn the different performing art forms of India.
