Thank you, we received your application and registration for the rushen retreat of dzogchen master Keith Dowman on the 20-31August, 2024 at the Ráktanya. I We would like to share more information and requests/questions with you, and we look forward to your acknowledgments and confirmations as soon as possible.

- A preliminary meeting for the retreat will be held on the 18th of August 2024., 18:00 at the Sambhala Tibet Centre with personal appearance!
- the fee for the retreat is 650 EU
- after reconfirmation please send deposit of 50 thousand forints (150 EU) until the 30th of July so that we can the cover preliminary expenses: Hendrei Tibor

- If you do not pay the deposit, you may not partake in the retreat...;
- There is a stone building on the location, but according to rushen rules, accomodation takes place in own individual tents according to the rushen practice; There is warm shower possibility in the stone building;
- According to retreat rules, meals are communal, we eat vegetarian, with the exception of the last day when we have ganapuja;
- We prepare the main meal, a hot lunch, once a day, breakfast and, if you wish, dinner will be provided on the spot / prepared by us;
- Making and organising breakfast and dinner will be done by one of the kind participants, but we expect mandatory kitchen and other help from everyone in a daily rotation;
- In accordance with our needs and possibilities, we go into town to buy food from time to time, not too often, in which case you can order special things for yourself;
- The place can be approached by car and there is a parking lot;
- For the sake of organization and for everyone's benefit, please let us know if you are coming by car!;
- The use of telephones and other electronic devices is absolutely not recommended during the retreat;
- It is not recommended to smoke or use any drugs during the retreat;
- In case of extreme weather, you can also sleep in the houses;
- If you also attend the teachings, let us know as soon as possible;
- Epidemiological regulations currently do not prevent the retreat from being held. Possible new regulations may change this;
- The audio and visual material of the retreat cannot be recorded;
- We provide the texts and images recommended by Keith Dowman for the retreat;
- If you have any comments or suggestions regarding any point, please let us know as soon as possible!
- Unexpected situations can always arise during an event of this nature. Please treat them with patience, humanity and compassion!
- If you cancel your participation for various reasons, let us know.
Necessary, recommended things for the retreat
- your own tent, blankets, pillow, polifoam, mattress;
- your own meditation cushion if you have one;
- your own utensils, cup, cutlery, sharp knife, plate or similar, little pot, , scissor;
- washing your dishes after meal is everyone's own thing given the possibility of doing so;
- watter bottle or similar for the outdoor practices;
- warm clothing for colder days;
- raincoat, waterproof shoes or rubber boots, for rainy days, shades/umbrella against rain and sun;
- towel, cleaning stuff, soap, shampoo, etc.;
- any clothing for your comfort, shoes;
- flashlight, compass;
- your medicines, bandaid for unawaited situations;
- tick repellent, tick tweezers;
- notebook, pen, pencil if needed;
- your special needs: coffee, tee (cigaretttes, tobacco) etc...
- these conditions and recommendations may be added to, read the following letters...
We are asking for help in the following matters, as they are still unresolved:
- car assistance for Keith Dowman during his stay here;
- to clean Keith Dowman's place of residence during his stay here;
- shopping for Keith Dowman;
- help organizing Keith's personal programs;
- to help reaching the place of the retreat, by car.
