Dialogue for Peace 2019

Tibet has never been a part of China. In 1959 Chinese troops brutally and illegally invaded Tibet with the result of 1.2 Million Tibetan deaths. His Holiness the Dalai Lama together with 80 thousand Tibetans fled into exile in India. 2019 marks 60 YEARS of the lost of our independence but still the UN and the International Community keep silent while Tibetans inside Tibet keep suffering the violation of their Human Rights, torture, repression, the destruction of the environment and the lack of freedom of religion, movement, language…
The ‘Dialogue for Peace’ Tour will visit 30 countries in Europe with the aim and objective to urge and appeal the European Union, Politicians, Parliament Members and Tibet Support Groups to raise their voice for an urgent DIALOGUE between the Dalai Lama and China’s President Xi Jinping as soon as possible. The Dalai Lama and the Tibetan Administration in Exile are not asking for Separation or Independence. Since 1978 we have been asking for a genuine AUTONOMY from China. Therefore we urge a face-to-face meeting between the Dalai Lama and the President of China to solve the Tibetan issue, a dialogue that must be carried on under the scrutiny of UNO and the International Community Leaders.
Tibet is dying, Tibet is burning of 153 self immolations. The “Dialogue for Peace” tour is asking for the support of a twelve point manifesto for Peace, Happiness and Prosperity of our Chinese brothers and the Tibetans:
1. Urgent Peaceful Dialogue between a Dalai Lama’s
Delegation and the Chinese Government of Xi Jinping.
2. The Release of the Panchen Lama Gendun Chokyi
Nyima.
3. Freedom of Religion, Education and Movement for Tibetans in Tibet.
4. Stop the destruction of the Ecology and the Tibetan environment and respect the Tibetan Nomadic way of life.
5. Preservation of the TIBETAN language and Culture, and the release of Tashi Wangchuk.
6. Stop the One Road and One Belt project.
7. Stop expelling monks and nuns from the Monasteries.
8. The Dalai Lama’s return to Tibet.
9. Stop Confucius Institute.
10. Stop the Dalai Lama’s Reincarnation interference.
11. Allowing a Fact Finding Delegation to Tibet without preconditions.
12. Reciprocal Access to Tibet.
